How Batsand
Heating Battery work
The heating is generated by our proprietary system, and is then blown to a DIY sand container (battery) according to our construction blueprints, that can be buried in your backyard (or built at surface). Hot air is then circulated through the system until the sand reaches 500°C degrees.
When the colder months arrive, air is recirculated again to warm up the air/water heat exchanger that is connected to the house heating system. Allowing the heat to be steadily provided until the battery is discharged to 45°C.
